Once upon a time, my best friend, Bryan Martinez, often heard his mother’s medical conversations with friends. One day at school, our teacher confronted Mrs. Martinez and told her that she was able tell that Bryan was a son from a nurse. Three years ago I came to this great country following a goal, a dream, and looking for new opportunities. I never thought that today I would be studying nursing. Honestly, these ideas never crossed my mind after having been a doctor for 20 years in Cuba. Few times we find good opportunities to study, and this one, in particular, I would not lose it.
