Psychologically it fights mental fatigue and lethargic behavior while increasing your alertness. Although these may seem like very good effects, this drug can be habit forming. Your body will eventually become dependent on the caffeine and you will begin to experience negative side effects from withdrawals. These include depression, anxiousness, fatigue, and the shakes. Also, caffeine cannot be mixed with certain drugs because it may increase the stimulant effect of the other drug. Because of these few negative effects mentioned, it is essential that you use caffeine in
