Large-scale shifts often occur because of social, economic and political pressures or reasons. Even without having these kinds of influences, a language can change effectively if required number of users changes the way they speak it. Also needs of speakers drive language change. New technologies, industries, products and experiences requires new words sometimes. History records proves of language change accelerated by invasions, colonization and migration. Even without these kinds of influences, a language can change dramatically if enough users alter the way they speak it. Even we can compare the English of olden days through Shakespeare’s readings. Now question is which makes their language changed? Main reason is, by using newly originated terms, we all made our language to change. But the unique way that individuals speak also fuels language change. That’s because no two persons use a language in exactly the same way or pattern. The vocabulary, phrases and the way of speaking of particular individual depends on where that person live, their age, education level, social status and other factors. When such two people having same language but having different modes of that language interact or communicate each other, they pick up new words and sayings and integrate them into our speech. Now, how can such people meet together? People of particular region spread through the world because of many reasons. Which makes them to meet people of same language but having different form. Thus it results in language change. Even you can take teens and young adults as example, who often use different words and phrases from their parents. Hence, in every person who are living far from the native place can have their language changing. So, according to my availability and convenience, I concentrated on SNU students and also my friends and relatives who are living far from home or native place.
