1.0 Organization Introduction IKEA Missions: To create a better everyday life for the many people. Visions: Offering a wide range of well-designed, functional home furnishing products at prices so low that as many people as possible will be able to afford them (IKEA, 2013). Defined Organization IKEA is one of the international home products furniture retailers that sell and designs the home accessories, ready assemble furniture, bathroom and kitchen items in their stores around the worlds. The company which known as modern architectural and design the various types of appliances and furniture in affordable price, is now as a largest furniture retailer in worlds. History IKEA was founded in Sweden in 1943 by who was listed as one of the richest people in year 2013 which in age of 17, namely Ingvar Kamprad. Apart from that, this firm also concern of cost control, operational details and continuous product development that give IKEA to lower its prices by an average of two to three percent over during a period of global expansion. Now, IKEA was operates of 349 stores in 43 countries in January 2014. Current strategy 1. Low cost strategy leadership IKEA know as a unique furniture business that involved the customer’s needs with the potential on the factory floor. IKEA have owns abilities to develops its products directly based on the understanding and knowledge about the life and home challenges among the customer’s needs with low cost and high quality product. The skilled suppliers create the furniture that can adapt with the product size and constructions that enable them to produce, package and provided delivered stock in proficient way to all customers. Conclusion As a conclusion, the Swedish-multinational have its own strengths that can be best accessing and weaknesses that should not be avoided but to be improvised on. Looking on their organization’s evaluation thoroughly and find out what is it best for them to keep with and continuously improving on so that their stand and place in the global market can be kept. Also, they should focus on their business sustainability to keep being competitiveness on the global market.
