I too love surfing, and tattoos. I grew up in Saint Petersburg, Florida, and basically lived on the water. When I was in high school, my older brother would pick me up after school, I would change in his car, and we would spend the rest of the day surfing or skim boarding depending on the weather. I did do skateboarding, and rollerblading for a little while but never got that much into it. Additionally, I started getting tattoos, when I was young, and ended up filling out my full sleeve on my right arm while I was deployed in Colombia, South America. I went with the day of the dead theme throughout my sleeve, but have multiple other tattoos also. I think I felt the same way you did after 9/11, just because of the way the news was portraying
Before the attacks on September 11th, Americans were under the assumption that an individual or group of individuals could not do such a devastating thing to humanity. Prior to 9/11 there was a lack of security in airports and on airplanes. “In 2001, airline security was minimal and was the responsibility of the airline. Passengers were asked a few questions by ticket agents before they passed through checkpoints with metal detectors that were calibrated to sound an alarm for anything larger than a small caliber handgun. If an alarm did sound, security at the checkpoint would...
The photos that are being displayed are showing the emotions that the camera wants to show us. We only feel emotion from this tragedy because we ether have known someone that has been hurt, or we have seen the event happen so many times we just start to feel sad for just trying to imagine it. It was said once that a picture is worth a thousand words. Those thousand words are being manipulated by who has taken the picture. Every event can be made to look bad by a certain camera angle. Every picture and camera is biased to someone's certain point of view. That point of view could either be of a bad or good emotional state. The pictures from 911 are showing the emotions, that he American public wants to feel. In order for America to feel good about killing hundreds of Afghannies we have to see these bad images over and over again so that we can not feel the littlest sympathy for those of the families that we bomb everyday. Since thousands of Americans have died, we should show these images that are all of sad emotions so we can get over this big mess.

Seaworld is a giant marine life theme park. The greatest attraction to these many theme park would be those killer whales. In fact, these killer whales are the face of the park. As gigant as these mammals are, seaworld is keeping them in some pretty tight quarters. Mr. Jett and Mr.Ventre says “Wild killer whales can swim a hundred miles daily as they socialize, forage, communicate, and breed. In stark contrast, with little horizontal or vertical space in their enclosures, captive orcas swim only limited distances, with most spending many hours surface resting.” The animals don't have the freedom they need. Also when taking the whales out of their natural habit the whales tend to be depressed and not as heath in that situation. They need their freedom in the big ocean blue. Bring them into the small living units, breeding whales in captivity all for the entertainment of humans. At young ages the calves are taken away from their mothers on to a new seaworld park. Mothers of the calves have even been seen denying their offspring.
Though 9/11 was depressing, there was hope. Many people helped others and showed their love for our country. For example, the F.D.N.Y. firefighters placed an American flag where the towers once stood. Seeing the symbolism of America in the pile of rubble made me feel
I designed a roller coaster and Newton's first, second, and fourth laws affected it but why? But I do know something what those laws are the first law is inertia, the second law is acceleration, and the fourth law is universal gravitation.
By 1919, The roller coaster was first developed by John Miller. In 1927, A roller coaster was placed at an Amusement Park, the Cyclone was placed and the Coney Island. The roller coaster has a monumental ice slide, the height is 70 ft, it was popular in the 16th and 17th centuries in Russia. The first roller coaster(American) was the Mauch Chunk Switchback Railway. It was built in the mid-1800’s in the mountains of Pennsylvania.
Behold my true prize possession when I was on vacation this year. The item I am going to show you today is a shell from Saint Lucia. Last summer, my family and I took a trip to Saint Lucia for a week. I played at the beach, swam in the pool, enjoyed the food and scenic beauty, and went shell hunting. When the sun was at its highest point in the sky, my brothers and I would go shellfishing. The crystal clear ocean made it so much easier for the shells to show its true beauty. I picked one up and threw it away because it was hideous. Not that one, oooh definitely not that one. But there it was, the most perfect seashell I have ever encountered. It is your normal old and traditional seashell that you would find on the beach but so much
said, “Every time you dive, you hope you'll see something new - some new species. Sometimes the ocean gives you a gift, sometimes it doesn't.” As you are swimming under the ocean, imagine the sparkle of the water as you look up the surface from a hundred feet below; floating along with the current, slowly and deeply breathing while observing the sea life. Continue to imagine the ability to remain underwater for an hour or more, just swimming and observing the ocean. This is the life of a scuba diver. Many people think of Scuba Diving as a swim in the water, but in reality it is a very dangerous, and potentially fatal sport and activity. There are many types of Scuba

One sizzling summer day, spent at my good friend’s home, I found myself playing a wakeboarding game on the Wii. I was 14 years old and seeing the imaginary figures fly onto the other side of the wake intrigued me beyond belief. As I played game after game, I decided that I wanted to have my share of flight time on the water. I went home that day and immediately asked my mom if I could give it a whirl. Naturally, she was questionable at first as any mother would be when their action seeking son comes up with a “new idea”. After some research and constant persistence, I got the chance to learn from one of her cousins who has been practicing the sport for years.
...from researching and writing about the events I felt I was transported to this time and place and I can really feel for the people of this country. Even when we read history books we are able to just take in the event as a historical time. It is easy to just read out numbers of slaughtered and oppressed like statistics but looking closer we must see that in the thousands who suffered and died there were brothers and sisters, moms and dads and little children. This unnecessary suffering was for greed and lust for power. This is a sad story that keeps repeating itself time and time again.
A young 13-year-old boy was attacked by a shark in Florida, but luckily he is alive and well. A lot of people are out on this Memorial Day weekend enjoying the water, and a shark attack is going to make a few people think twice about heading out into the ocean. People shared the details about this shark attack and how the boy is doing now.
Surfing is, always beautiful. Gliding through the clear water on a smooth board, while the wind whips through your hair and past your skin, is the best feeling in the world. Take it from me, i’ve tried it. The only thing better than the feeling is the view. When you are up on your board, magnificent scenery rolls by-crystal blue water, rolling lush green mountains, warm sand, and old beach shops, that even though the paint is peeling, are still pretty to look at.However, it is rare to find a spot where you can surf now, without flying through the water and catching your toe on a stray piece of garbage, or even a net, that can pull at your toes, and when you look at the view stray pieces of garbage float lazily across the polluted sand, while the beach shops have colourful rappers littered around them, from people who take aim at the overflowing and rusty garbage cans, miss and walk on.
