I believe in bucket lists. These long lists of things a person hopes to accomplish and experience in their lifetime can hold a lot of meaning. By talking to someone about the items on his or her bucket list, you can learn a lot about them. The things that they want to do can reflect their personality, life experiences, and passions. I think bucket lists are important because they reflect the value we place on life. While it sometimes seems like we have forever to accomplish everything, we are occasionally reminded that this is not the case; our time is more limited than we like to think. The people that think they know me may be shocked by some of these. In all honesty, many of them are outside of my comfort zone, but that doesn’t mean that I shouldn’t try to experience them. I may be a more reserved person who tends to stay on the safe side, but I can’t deny that I love that feeling of exhilaration I get when doing something new or exciting. I have performed in front of over 50,000 people, traveled over 70 miles per hour on a roller coaster, and rode on the back of a motorcycle down the highway, so I am no stranger to adrenaline. I remember these moments, with a wide smile plastered on my face and a feeling of pure joy, and I want to make more like them. Learning to surf, parasailing, scuba diving, skydiving, going to a music festival, and ziplining are some of the most adventurous aspects of my list. Not all of the points on this part of my list are quite this thrilling however. I also included goals for my future, including graduating from high school and college, speaking at least one language other than English fluently, and being on my own. We all have goals and aspirations, and putting them on a list is one way to help you keep on track to accomplish
