A fascinating story on an astonishing girl fighting for educational rights I am Malala is a fascinating novel based on a true story of a girl who was only sixteen years fighting for educational rights. Malala Yousafzai manages to portray her strong character throughout the novel to grab the reader's attention and make them see her world through the imagery that she accomplishes to utilize throughout the book. In the book I am Malala the author Malala Yousafzai utilizes the distinguish use of diction, ethos, and repetition. The utilization of diction throughout this novel is astonishing. Malala Yousafzai utilizes impacting words with the use of, “ voiceless children,deprived, and stubborn”(Yousafzai, 2014). In the speech given on december 11, 2014 Malala Yousafzai exclaims, “I tell my story not because it is unique but because it is not it is the story of many girls”(Yousafzai, 2014). There's no absolute way of proving that her story is a unique, but this is a form of ethos because she chooses to portray herself as unique and she may not appeal to others in that form. Yousafzai possesses a consistent utilization of repetition to appeal to her audience. Throughout the novel she mentions how she's fighting for the educational rights. In the novel she chooses to mention, “education is neither East nor Western, it is human”. The mentioning of the following is an example of how she continuously decides to mention how everyone should have education. To conjugate, Malala Yousafzai establishes to fascinate the world with her incredible story of how she stood up for her believes.
