Those are the words often said to me by my best friend. I'm grateful that she is one of those people that is meant stay in my life. I'm thankful for her insite, her joy, and her love.

Today is the day my best friend was brought into the world. I can not express how exciting it is for me. I am so proud of who you have become and all that you have overcome. There are a few things I want you to remember before I end this letter.
1) Lighten up: Life isn't easy, and it isn't always fun. But don't let it drag you down. With stress and struggles, it can be hard to be light and happy. If you ever need a laugh or to just get your mind off of things, I'm always here. Don't let things get too heavy. Do have fun. Smile.
2) You aren't alone: I got your back, and a lot of other people do, too! Don't ever think that your in this by yourself. Becasue people love you.
3) Take your time: You're only 17, once. Enjoy it. Take new adventures, life your life to the fullest, and cherish every moment. (Not to be cheesey)
4) HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I love you so much and I hope your day is incredible.
I made this an open letter, becasue I know someone else out there feels this way about their best friend, maybe even you. I don't tell you how much I appreciate you enough. You are so wonderful, some people don't know how incredible you are. Your birthday is a time to be celebrated and I know you have people other than me in your life who are grateful to have you too.

You came into my life and changed me forever. Over the years people have complimented me for being a good mother but I can't take credit for that. You were born good and you were the one who was often teaching me. I believe you are an angel God sent to teach me. You taught me love. You taught me honesty. You taught me how to forgive and how to be strong. You are the strongest person I have ever known and you gave me strength when I was weak. When times were sad and tough I looked to you for strength. You taught me how to be myself. Most of all you taught me about life and how to live.

I’m going to miss her, so much. Eventually I will be able to remember her without breaking into tears and see the good times we had. I know that I had to write a happy story, but I needed to write this. I read that this was good for getting out of the grief. So this is my first step out of the sadness The one good thing about losing a friend, even a best friend, it’s that you can always make more, and that is pretty neat.
I am immensely thankful for someone who has been right beside me through all the peaks and valleys of life...my dog. These wonderful pets are intelligent, loyal, caring, and have been scientifically proven to boost the mental health of several. In other words, they stop at nothing to augment a person’s happiness. All dogs offer amazing companionship as they are always ecstatic to accompany me on any task, for example, going on a walk outdoors or even just lounging around at home. Also, I am thankful how growing up with a pet has strengthened my responsibility skills.
You are the single most greatest, important person in my life, and I promise I will do my utmost best to make you feel special and show you how great a friend and person you are! I know I don 't deserve your friendship, and I know that you deserve better than me as a friend. As weird as it may sound, I would sacrifice everything in my power just to make you happy.
