The way to success with humility Nowadays, not only the competence, intelligence, and intention that can lead people to success, but also the behavior which is one of the factors. Most people may think that the goal of success is money; however, it is the achievement in the short-term, not the long-term. According to Christensen (2010), he has developed and presented several dimensions to students how to measure their lives and one of those ways is the humility. In the first case, assumes you are a humble employee. Your boss and colleagues will be merciful to you because you show that you have the manners with seniors. Therefore, when you face problems, they will help you to solve the problems and have good wishes to you. In the second case, if you are the boss, you have to show humility to subordinates. Hence, they will respect and want to follow you because you do not act like a tyrant, but polite leader. In both cases, the humility will lead you to work easier with your colleagues. In the real world, you cannot do everything by yourself, but you and your colleagues have to work together as a team. If you graduated from a famous university with outstanding grade, but not knowing how to work as a team, you would not success at the end anyways. Furthermore, humility is not only used in the workplace, but also in your every day life. In the workplace, if you conduct yourself, your bosses and colleagues will turn to be your friends. The real intelligent people are people who confess with their own mistakes and comply with others’ advice. Moreover, they will accept to improve themselves. For example, when you make some mistakes, you cannot only say sorry. However, you have to sincerely show that you try to solve the problem, so it makes others to feel that you are really confessing with your mistakes. Some proud people cannot admit their mistakes, and do not listen to others’ reprimand. It means that they obstruct themselves from the others’ good will, so it leads them to repeat the same mistakes because they do not want to solve the problem. Moreover, for instance, if some well-wishers try to caution a guy that he does something wrong, but the guy does not listen to their warning. Hence, they do not try for the second time to tell this guy about his mistakes. It means that the guy does not admit his fault, and no one else wants to warn him
