Do you ever look at the sky? When the sun makes a pink hue inof the sky and you think to yourself that nothing could go wrong. What if I told you that you could never see that great big ball of gas ever again? There is a story about a hero who saved the world. This is how it begins. Huitzilopochtli was a man of great strength, he was a leader amongst his people. His village was one of the biggest in the area. He did not fear anyone, and was thought to be a god. One day Huitzilopochtli set out from the village to find new areas to claim and help. While he was trekking through the jungle he stumbled upon an ancient tomb that had an eerie mist around it. It was old and cracked with low hanging vines that partially concealed the entrance. Being the fearless man he was, he walked inside the tomb …show more content…

At the very back of the tomb there was a small stone box that had candles surrounding it. As Huitzilopochtli walked closer he could feel a cool sensation run down his back. His mind started to become numb and all he wanted to do was run away. He got close enough to touch the box and once he did the box started to glow red and began shaking violently. Huitzilopochtli tried to take his hand away but it seemed attached to the box and his fingers grasped around the lid of the box and without his permission opened it. When he did this bones started to fly out of the tiny box and started forming a skeleton on the ground. After what seemed like seconds the fully formed skeleton rose up from the floor and knocked Huitzilopochtli out. For many moons Huitzilopochtli slept, when he awoke the world was surrounded in darkness and the only light he saw was his village burning to the ground. In the sky there was a giant robed figure that billowed black smoke over the trees. All of his face was covered except for his red glowing eyes. He carried a scythe that he swung at some of the
