How would Jenny deal with this situation psychologically? How would she explain to herself what was going on? How would she comfort herself? The story about Jenny is heartfelt, and there is no one right answer to deal with the problem of protecting her sanity. Jenny has little to no choice to deal with the abusive situation that she is currently experiencing with her mother, Mandy. Little Jenny can take the route of denial.
