There are more than one million dollars wasted on washing your cars in car washes rather than washing your car by hand. Many people think that car washes are more productive than washing your cars at home by hand. They say that it shouldn’t matter to them if whether not I wash my car here or there. But what they did not know is that car washes waste 10 gallons of water per minute, and if most car washes take 20-25 minutes they are wasting more than two hundred gallons of water per car. So a more productive way to wash your car is by hand, but if you want to begin you need to go through steps to wash your car properly.

If you do clean the outside of your car you will be needing many products to conduct your project and you will have to do many actions to to finish it. To start it off you first clean the outer parts with soap and when you are finished with that you will scrub all of the soap ,that is on the car, with a scrub brush (or sponge e.t.c). To get all of the dirt, grease, smudges, and smears off. After you are done with the hard part you will be getting to rinse it off with the hose I said you needed earlier and then you will be needing to dry it off with a wash cloth or paper towels (even though washcloths are more productive.) But this is not the end of your car wash experience, you will still need to be cleaning all of those little places you might forget if you didn’t write it down. Like your tires, if you clean your tires it goes through the same steps as if you were cleaning the outside of your car. You will be needing to put soap and scrub all of the dirt off of the tire. Then you will be needing to rinse and dry it. You will also be needing to wash your windows and mirrors if you want to be fully done. If you wash your mirrors you will have to soap it down and then scrub the it in, then you will be needing to rinse all of the soap off and dry fully. After you have gotten this all done you will be needing to clean up your towels and all of the other items you have gotten
The focus of health care is and has always been, practicing good hygiene, living a healthy lifestyle, and having a positive attitude reduces the chance of getting ill. Although there is not much prevention we can take for some of the diseases but we can certainly practice good hand hygiene to prevent infection and its ill effects. Research proves that hand washing is surely the most easy and effective way to prevent infection in health care. The question for this research: Is Hand washing an effective way to prevent infection in health care? It led to the conclusion that due to the high acuity, high patient: staff ratio, and lack of re evaluation certain units in the health care facilities cannot adhere to correct hand washing guidelines. Whether soil particles are attached to carpet fibers, wood floors or restroom sinks, they need to be removed. But how is this done? Most of us wipe or scrub a dirty surface with soap and water without a second thought about how they actually work to remove soil. The process of removing dirt begins at the molecular level. In order to understand how soap works, we must first acknowledge what soap actually does.
The Car Wash industry began to start and grow across the U.S. after the conclusion of World War II. America’s economic rebirth and prosperity created a boom in the housing and automobile industry. What began as a business to satisfy Americans’ love of the automobile has grown over the past several decades into an international industry. From washing one’s car in the driveway with a water hose and bucket of soapy water, to the do-it-yourself, unattended coin operated high-pressure wand locations, to today’s professional car washing businesses which feature complex automatic equipment and technological systems to wash cars more safely and effectively than ...
Automobiles play an essential role in American society. As if being the major means of transportation was not impressive enough, automotives can be seen on T.V., in movies, in magazines, and can sometimes be indicative of a person’s wealth and social status. On average, Americans drive nearly 40 miles and drive for just over 50 minutes driving per person per day (http://www.bts.gov). That means a person spends roughly one-sixteenth of a day driving. It would make sense, then, to make such an essential part of society as efficient, cost effective, and clean as possible. However, that is not the case. As the years have passed cars have actually begun to move away from efficiency. Hawken writes, “[The automobile] design process has made cars ever heavier, more complex, and usually costlier. These are all unmistakable signs that automaking has beco...

Whether that place is work, a restaurant, or home, people require a means of transportation in order to arrive at a desired destination safely and efficiently. New technological advancements like rear-view camera, self parking, and auto braking have greatly improved the overall safety of cars today. However, one of the most talked about ideas are autonomous

Car pollutants cause immediate and long-term effects on the environment. Car exhausts emit a wide range of gases and solid matter, causing global warming, acid rain, and harming the environment and human health. Engine noise and fuel spills also cause pollution. Cars, trucks and other forms of transportation are the single largest contributor to air pollution in the United States, but car owners can reduce their vehicle's effects on the environment. Car pollution is one of the major causes of global warming. Cars and trucks emit carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases, which contribute one-fifth of the United States' total global warming pollution. Greenhouse gases trap heat in the atmosphere, which causes worldwide temperatures to rise.
If I were to start in my kids’ room, which is upstairs, I would gather all my supplies so I wouldn’t have to make numerous trips up and down the staircase. My list of supplies consists of these items: a vacuum, pledge, a dust cloth, window cleaner, paper towels, a hamper or clothes basket, and some extra energy. I start by picking up all the dirty laundry and placing it in the basket or hamper. I also make sure all toys, trash, clothes or whatever else that has been hidden, is out from under the beds and dressers. If there are any clean clothes on the beds or dressers, I take the time to put them in their place, either in the drawers or neatly hung in the closet. I spray the tops of the wooden surfaces with pledge and polish it in a circular motion into the wood with a dust cloth. I like to use a micro fiber cloth because it attracts the dust particles better than a regular cloth. This makes the surfaces shiny, smooth and clean. After the dressers are done, I polish the television and all the electronics that surround it. The windows are next on the check list. Using the window cleaner, I evenly spray one pane of glass at a time. With a paper towel or two, I scrub the glass, making sure to get into the corners and any spots that may be smudged on the surface. I continue this process on each pane that remains. My windows tilt in, making it super easy for me to clean the outsides of them too. I am a perfe...
Long ago, washing clothes was done through the process of rubbing sand on clothes, or by smashing the article of clothing with hard rocks. Also, by dipping clothing in water which removed excess dirt. Another way to get clothes clean long ago was, boats used to carry clothes in bags and dragged the bags in the water to clean the clothes or whatever else was in the bag. Many tried to think of simpler ways to wash clothes, but there was no troubled principle to get clothes clean. For using water to remove dirt was the base principle. Some of the first washing machines were hand operated and were wash boards. Then, in 1858 was when mechanical washing machines became introduced. This was a big step, for soon people around the world would try to keep improving this marvelous invention. Shortly after, Alva Fisher was said to have made the worlds first electric washing machine around 1907. “It was not until the modern washing machine was invented that women were freed from this hard work” ( Field Enterprises Educational Corporation 45 ). However, many ...
Laundry detergents have had a great impact on the society since it helps our life in keeping ourselves clean, lessens our job or the use of our energy in cleaning our appliances. Laundry detergents have come a long way since the very first bar soaps, made from animal fat and lye, were offered for sale in the 1700s. In the 1950s, homemakers had more options of fabric care since the introduction of synthetic detergents were placed on the market. However; during the 1970s, the most significant innovation in advanced cleaning was made available to clean specific types of stains. Every detergent manufacturer has secret ingredients and mixtures to produce their specific brands of laundry detergent. Many of these ingredients are extracted from plants,
After school, I had to come home and do the dishes because Mum had been washing clothes all day long.” (Rasmussen, 1994, p. 8) These quotes paint an interesting picture of life in the early 20th century. Washing was clearly a labour intensive full day work. The washing machine clearly had a big impact on Mamo and I am sure Rhoda appreciated it too.
Once the toilet is clean, carefully transport the bucket, rag and gloves downstairs to the laundry room. Dispose of the water down the laundry sink. Rinse the gloves thoroughly under warm water and hang to dry. Place the rag directly in to the washing
