Immigrants changed the native americans education. After the immigrants arrived to the United States Native American were taught many things such as how to read and write. By knowing how to read and write they could have better opportunities to negotiate with invaders. People know about the conflict between the Indian's cultures and the settler's cultures during the westward expansion. Many people know the fierce battles and melees between the Indians and the settlers that were born from this cultural conflict. In spite of this, many people may not know about the systematic and deliberate means employed by the U.S. government to permanently rid their new land of the Indians who had lived their own lives peacefully for many years. There are many strong and chilling reasons and causes as to why the settlers started all of this perplexity in the first place. There was also a very strong and threatening impact on the Native Americans through the schooling that stained the past and futures of Native Americans not only with blood but also with emotion. It was all a slow and painful plan of the "white man" to hopefully get rid of the Indian culture, forever. The Native American schools were created in an attempt to destroy the Native American way of life, their culture, beliefs and tradi...
In the years from 1860 through 1890, the prospect of a better life attracted nearly ten million immigrants who settled in cities around the United States. The growing number of industries produced demands for thousands of new workers and immigrants were seeking more economic opportunities. Most immigrants settled near each other’s own nationality and/or original village when in America.
Native Americans lost everything once white settlers set foot on America. Their entire lives changed right in front of their eyes, all because people were taking things that didn’t belong to them. The white settlers took everything from them, almost all of them died, or had to relocate; today Native Americans are still going through the same stereotypes and racism, and are seen as very dangerous.
Native Americans had inherited the land now called America and eventually their lives were destroyed due to European Colonization. When the Europeans arrived and settled, they changed the Native American way of life for the worst. These changes were caused by a number of factors including disease, loss of land, attempts to export religion, and laws, which violated Native American culture.
The Native Americans were more than willing to help out a stranger, whereas the English were more concerned about how much money the stranger had before helping them out. The Native Americans wouldn 't talk when other people were, and they wouldn 't answer the white 's proposal on the same day to show respect that they were actually considering it. In addition, Native Americans allowed everyone to talk in court, whereas the English yelled over each other and wouldn 't accept that they might be wrong. Many of these habits are still evident in today 's world, and it is probably the reason why the Americans were able to take over the Native
Throughout the 1800 and 1900 many German and Scandinavian immigrates made the trip to America. Even though they were leaving their homes and sometimes their families, they were doing it for the best. A lot of them lived in societies that were comprised of their culture but it was sometimes still a hard transition. Some of them were treated terribly at some point in time. They all had certain job they would do including farming and industry work. They brought great food to American and have tremendously influenced our culture today. Without these immigrants coming to America, the American culture would not be the same and they have really changed the way the country works.

The history of immigration stretches back before the colonial era, but the United States experienced major waves of immigration during the colonial era, the first past of 19th century and from 1880s to 1920 (Bankston and Danielle, 318). From the 1640s to 1763, hundreds of thousands of African slaves came to America against their will. The first Europeans in the 1500s, led by the Spanish and French, had established settlement in United States. In Jamestown, Virginia colony, some first settlers came in search of freedom to practice faith. The Pilgrims fled religious
The Native Americans after the Civil War faced the problems of being kicked out of their land having to assimilate into the American culture. The Native Americans were seen as “savages” because of that the American government wanted to civilize them. The government set up schools in the 1860s for Indian children to attend. The goal was for the children “to civilize their parents, as well, by sharing what they were learning” however, this ultimately failed.
America has really always been a nation of immigrants and it remains so today. But are immigrants changing the nature of the American identity, or is it being changed by basic values of America. Such as the desire for economic advancement, the love of freedom, or the promise of the American Dream? All citizens share common aspirations and values, even as they celebrate and honor their special racial, ethnic, cultural, and religious heritages. In the first paragraph of J. Hector St. John de Crevecoeur, "What Then, is the American?" It says "in the era of the revolution, many foreigners celebrated the united states as not only an independent nation, but a new society in which individuals could enjoy opportunities unknown in the old world and
To this day, immigrants have been an on going issue. On the secondary source of chapter thirteen, Unguarded Gates, Othis Graham successfully argues how immigrants helped shape American society. He makes several points that show how immigrants have helped.Such as the economic growth, cultural contributions, and nation-building. It was a concern to Americans that immigrants were going to take away there jobs and have a high population growth. Americans have always till this day been very concern about it but they didn't know

Upon the landing, numerous Americans did not favor of the new rush of workers for all intents and purposes attacking into their nation; along these lines, specialists put many Acts and confinements that migrants needed to look by moving to America. Foreigners going to the United States cut a less demanding way for some subjects in the 1900s.
Immigration is the act of leaving your country mostly native country to live in a foreign country, this act has been happening for centuries.
