Atticus was a very courage’s man as he went to protect tom Robinson from being accused of rape and he is a black man. One way harper lee has displayed courage in this book is by firstly showing that courage can be by any act besides holding a gun like Atticus finch standing up for the black man accused of rape Tom Robinson.
