Cleopatra a talented woman, who could speak among seven languages, played an important role in Egyptian history. Cleopatra born in 69 BC, was born into the Greek Macedonian dynasty, who had already ruled Egypt for 100 years. In later life, Cleopatra became an Egyptian ruler even though she was not Egyptian at all. Cleopatra could be described as a competitive, caring, and powerful person. Although she had many other traits, she showed these traits in a way that stood above all others.

Cleopatra always stayed and cared for her husbands when they were around. She also joined forces with Mark Antony and even proclaimed her love for him when they were just friends. Cleopatra definitely cared for Mark, because she always snuck out to see him. Cleopatra had and took care of four children even though her life was very busy. Last but not least, she committed suicide when her husband was dead because she said they would always be together.

In addition, Cleopatra was very powerful. Being as determined as she was, she declared her rule publicly no matter what people thought. Although she wasn’t an ounce of Egyptian she still ruled as an Egyptian leader. Cleopatra went into such extreme and powerful measures so that she could rule alone. For example, Cleopatra snuck away from her brother and met with Julius Caesar, just so that she could remove her brother from power and become a sole ruler. Over time Cleopatra ruled these present day countries Egypt, Cyprus, and Libya. These examples show how strong and effective of a ruler Cleopatra was.

Overall, Cleopatra VII was a competitive, caring and powerful Egyptian ruler. She was always willing to fight for her people when there was any threat. Also she cared for three
