I believe in music. In most of my life music has impacted my life in most ways then I could even think of. I have also found that music can lift me up when I’m feeling down, can pull me out into the light when I conceal myself in the dark, and help me see that there could be more out of the simplest of things I see. Even though I’m no expert or critic of music, I really like to pay attention to the lyrics, the notes, and the rhythm so I could enjoy it even more. Music can also speak more powerfully to me than words when I try to look for something that could help me in life.
When I was around the age of seven, I began to listen to a couple of bands that my cousin liked such as Linkin Park, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and many more; blasting in his room while playing the Playstation Two. That is how my adventure on music started and what it has done for me. Every time I listened to music I enjoyed every minute of the song even if I didn’t understand the meaning behind the lyrics; since I was a kid, it didn’t matter to me. While my sister was in orchestra, I went to every concert and I got to see how each group did and what song they played, but every time the concert began, I didn’t care much about the concert until the older kids started to play.They played the “James Bond Theme”,” The Pirates of the Caribbean”, and other great songs.
