Romeo and Juliet is a very good play written by William Shakespeare. In this play Romeo is first in love with girl named Rosaline. Very Quickly he goes to party and sees Juliet and falls in love with her. They end up getting married. Romeo one day has to save Juliet from tomb, and sees her fake dead so he kills himself, when she wakes up she then kills herself. Romeo is a dynamic character. Some of his traits are that his emotions change quickly, he can act childish, and acting without thinking. Due to these traits the play is changed.
First is how Romeo’s emotions change quickly. At first he’s in love with Rosaline. Romeo says this about Rosaline. “She’s too beautiful, too wise to earn her way to heaven to make me suffer” (1.1.220). Then when he goes to dance and sees Juliet and falls in love right away. He says this when he first sees her, “Her
One thing that he does that he sneaks into Capulet garden to watch Juliet. This is what he says sneaking into garden, “How can I leave when my heart is here? I’ll go back and find my hearts delight” (2.1.1). That could get him in big trouble. The second way he acts without thinking is when he finds Juliet dead. After a couple minutes of seeing her he kills himself. If he would not have done this Juliet would have not died either. This what Romeo says before dinking the potion, “Here’s to my love! Your drugs are quick. With a kiss I die” (5.3.119). A normal person would probably not kill their self instantly after finding love one dead, they would probably wait a day
From after reading this play. One can see why Romeo and Juliet is such a good play. In the play one can tell that Romeo is a main character who changes play. In this essay it has shown the traits of Romeo and they are how his emotions change quickly, how he is childish, and he acts without thinking.
