Music never goes out of style because every generation is new, music is a way for people to come together, music affects the way we feel. Variable 1 Music changes over the decades because we change with it. “British Scientists found tastes in line with “key life changes” “We shift our taste of music throughout life. (cite 8)” As we grow older it is proved to be true that our taste in music will change too. The quote above states this change, when you were little did you ever listen to childrens nursery rhymes? Majority of happy families around the world celebrate and love Christmas, all the lights, smiles and treats, but most importantly music. Music brings holiday fun to every town bringing people together happily. But this is not the only holiday that has music every holiday does! Halloween we have spooky music, fancy dinner parties on thanksgiving we have classical music, Valentine's day we have songs about romance (etc). There is remorseful music too for example, at a funeral when saying goodbye to a loved one there will be quiet sad music in the background. Or Remembrance day the bands marching around town playing a song to respect fallen soldiers. These are all examples of music that have been used for over 30 years now and will not change because why would we ever let go of these occasions. These types of music will never go out of style because they bring people together. “Music has also been linked to dopamine release, involved in regulating mood and craving behavior, which seems to predict music's ability to bring us pleasure. Music can change the way we feel this proved to be true by many people such as Daniel J Levitan a psychologist with a PHD and Lee Bartel PHD a music professor at the university of Toronto. Music is used as therapy in many places too. Like Lee bartel quoted “ At its core, music is a sound and sound is rooted in vibration.”
