Some behaviors are criminal (illegal/unlawful): why? (How does criminal behavior affect society? Any positive effects?)

Tons of acts today are viewed as unlawful. For instance, robbery,larceny, and burglary are viewed as illicit. This is because you are interfering with another person 's assets without their knowledge. Numerous burglaries wind up in death or harm the victim in a certain manner. Many of these actions are against people, property, businesses, and so forth.

Another sort of criminal like behavior is personal crimes. Which would be rape, assault, murders, and so on. These assaults cause mental harm to another person(s). An assault is usually intentional,harmful, as well as offensive. Rape is considered as a sexual assault which includes intercourse. However, the emotional and physical toll of crime also may serve to empower communities in which residents are brought closer together, which is considered as a positive effect.

Are we free to engage in criminal behavior?

Yes, we are free to engage in criminal behavior, but all consequences that come along should be suffered by those who choose to engage. There are many reasons why people engage in crime, and it has a lot to do with sociology. According to the Strain theory, people engage in crime when they become stressed or upset which encourages them to engage in such activities. It is a way to escape according to some. some engage in violence to end harassment from others. Criminal behavior always has a story behind it. it is an escape for some, others it is revenge, others do it to get money, and others do it to feel better.
