Aerospace Engineering Changing the Way We Live
Changing the Way We Live Aerospace engineering changed the way that people live their lives today. People always take their lives for granted and many may say how difficult life is. However they might not stop and think about the life that may have been if Engineering never existed. Throughout time, human technology has always advanced to next and newer model because people get bored by the old version and throw it out because it is now “useless.” Now before the time that technology has existed, what if it had never been invented. Today people would still be riding horses everywhere because they have no other choice. Getting from one side …show more content…

Aerospace Engineers have many duties that need to be done at the end of the day. According to Occupational Outlook Handbook, in the “Aerospace Engineers” they get paid on average up to $51 an hour (para. 3). On average $51 dollars an hour is a high amount of money, which is probably due to a higher amount of responsibility on the job.The OOH explains Daily task involve directing and coordinating the design, manufacture, and testing of aircraft and aerospace products (para. 5). Mechanical engineers and aerospace engineers are very similar to each other. A mechanical engineer also works on directing and coordinating the design of whatever they are making as well as the manufacture, and testing aircraft. The only slight difference would be that aerospace engineers work with creating the overall plane and what it contains, how aerodynamic it may be, and the qualities of the earth to the plane. Mechanical engineers work on certain parts of the plane, for example, creating the technology inside of the plane to keep it insulated and allowing the pilots see how far high in the air they are. Aerospace engineers also work on the same things that a mechanical engineer, however they may focus more on the overall product and flight. What they also do is that they identify elements that may not meet requirements and formulate alternatives to make it better (para. 13). For the majority, according to the OOH mechanical engineers focus on the creation on machinery, but on the other hand, Aerospace engineers focus and design primarily aircraft, satellites, and missiles (para. 34). During the process of making the aircraft, they spend more of their time inside on the computer because modern aircraft design requires the use of sophisticated computer equipment and software design tools (para. 36). Once finished with the final product the OOH states that they write papers that explain their design clearly so that no one reading the design may get
