In 1984 Michael Joseph Jackson became the only artist to be awarded eight Grammy’s in a single year. Michael Jackson kicked off his music career with the Jackson 5. The Jacksons signed their first record deal with Motown Records which at the time was already fairly popular. Michael Jackson changed the not just the music industry but the whole entertainment industry with his own style of expressing his feelings and ideals to people all over the world.

The Jackson 5 took Motown to new heights when they signed a record deal together. Jacksons dancing seemed a little bit strange at first but over time it grew with popularity and became its own style.
