During the Enlightenment, there were many new ideas that were created; however, I believe that the most important idea was everyone has natural rights. John Locke believed in life, liberty, and property. Locke thought that everyone should have these three (3) main rights no matter who they are and thought that the government, at all times, should protect these rights.
