Boston is a small town in Thomas County, located in southwest Georgia. Boston was a hunting ground for the Creek and Apalachee Indians. The Indians thrived in the region until the early 1800’s. People in Boston can find their collections of arrowheads and other artifacts from the natives.

Many people say this is how Boston got its name. Mr. Parramore owned a stagecoach stop in Old Boston. Thomas M. Boston was a frequent visitor to Boston. Mr.Parramore and Mr. Thomas M.
