Criminals have honor Are criminals capable of having honor? Do criminals have their own code that they follow? But do criminals have a reason for their actions? In the book The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton, there are different social groups the greasers which are hoodlums and socs who are upper class. Even though the greasers are hoodlums they show honor by sticking together, they help each other, and they stand up for each other. To begin they stick together no matter what. In the book, they stick together through the hard times no matter what happened. Ponyboy said “ ‘You know the only thing Darry from being a socs is us’ ‘’(pg126).
