Hitler wanted to establish an anti-Jewish policy, but at the same time he wanted to avoid violent actions which could negatively affect his rule. He came to a conclusion in March 1933, when he established a boycott against Jews in the business and professional world. The end goal of this policy was to abolish all Jews from the economy because in Hitler’s mind this would take major steps in oppressing the Jews without any major violent actions. The result of the boycott was a surprise to Hitler because although many Jewish owned businesses were affected negatively, these businesses were largely employing large numbers of Aryans.
