Alan, a member of the Hip Hop movement on campus, started presenting the history of Hip Hop. According to Alan, the hip hop movement group started in 2005. We looked at the comparison between a DJ and a mc and we also went over how block parties became big with the help of Kool Herc. Throughout the presentation, I was able to see how different music can be mashed together to create a mash of unique and peculiar sound/music.
