Located 90 miles north of Las Vegas sits a high-security military base widely known as Area 51. For decades people have had suspicions about whether or not alien life forms exist and if so, whether or not they are imprisoned at Area 51. This curiosity has been fueled by not only interest in extraterrestrials, but also reported sightings of foreign life forms not from planet Earth. The conspiracies, other life forms exist and are being kept at military base, have largely been fueled by the government’s involvement in nearly all reported sightings. Area 51 not only has discovered other forms of life from outer space but also is most likely conducting strange experiments there.
The government that operates Area 51 probably has something to hide. “The faculty, which comprises thousands of acres, is surrounded by security fencing and intruder-detection systems, and is regularly patrolled. A no-fly zone operates above it” (Lewis 7). When trying to keep a top secret controlled and contained, special precautions would be prepared and enforced. “Few of the human government employees who work at Groom have ever talked about their work” (Lewis 7). In order to work at a top secret facility, a person would be inclined to keep quiet about work and everything he is involved with at the work place. Many people argue that many experiments have taken place at the super-secret base, but not on aliens. In 1989 Bob Lazar, a former government employee who worked at Groom Lake (Area 51), announced that “… he too had been involved in “back engineering” at Area 51’s S-4 hangars complex…” (Lewis 7). Back engineering is “The analysis of a completed system in order to isolate and identify its individual components or building blocks” (encyclopedia2.thefree...

...had laid out the debris Brazel had discovered on his farm on the Generals desk. Later when they returned Marcel noticed that “… the debris was gone, and pieces of a weather balloon had mysteriously taken its place” (McConnachie and Tudge 295). The general most likely had someone take the debris, that was probably evidence of life outside of space, and put it someplace top secret to keep it from being known by the public. Suspicion continues to build as things continue to not add up. Unless the debris was of great value, it would not have been replaced with an actual weather balloon.

...ary knew about the crash and that they were going to transport the wreckage to another military base. Many eyewitness accounts with similar details eliminate the possibility of merely a single person making up the entire event. The government’s contradictory reports demonstrate that their knowledge of the incident is dynamic and dependent on how they want the people to react. This matter is important because it raises the possibility that if the government is hiding information from the public about a spacecraft accident, there may be other incidents where the government is concealing the truth from the public. Despite the government’s best attempts to cover up the Roswell incident, eyewitness accounts from the common person validate the idea that an unidentified flying object crashed in Roswell, New Mexico and eternally changed the lives of several people.
Conspiracy theories accuse others of a cover up by secret planning. They may be based on a hunch or even backed by evidence. To the curious mind, they bring about unanswered questions that have attracted the attention of many people throughout history. Among some of the more popular theories are the assassination of President John F. Kennedy; the death of Princess Diana; alien encounters in Roswell, New Mexico; and the idea that Elvis may still be alive. Perhaps the most intriguing theory, because of our neighboring location, is the underground bunker and seemingly strange characteristics at the Denver airport.
There is no doubt that an elaborate underground base exist below the Denver International Airport. What actually is going on down below in this base however is a mystery. When taking a closer look at this airfield it is evident that something weird is going on. “While the most extreme claim maintains that a massive underground facility exists below the airport where an alien race of reptilian humanoids feeds on missing children while awaiting the date of government-sponsored rapture” (Maher 4). This extreme claim just shows what the human mind can conceive when coincidence and the unknown meet. The research is done, is there a conspiracy or is it just being blown out of proportion.
This can be thanked by Bob Lazar’s exposure to the secretive military base in the early 80’s. It is now looked at as a place where Aliens are kept, mechanisms that have to do with time travel and intergalactic activities. When people think conspiracy theory or world mysteries: they think area 51. Although in modern day for Bob Lazar; he now is completely off the grid. Hopping from location to location selling nuclear products on the black market. He lives his life as an outcast because the government wants him hidden from society. Lazar had released all the information he possibly had back in 1970s, so the impact he would have today wouldn’t mean much. Lazar is greatly underappreciated for sacrificing his whole life and career to release all of this information. Without him, the world would not have as many questions and conspiracies for the military base Area 51. For what Bob Lazar is doing right now at this very second, it is a mystery as
Extraterrestrial life has been a major topic for quite some time now, but has really escalated in the past two centuries. The movie we watched in class was called Extraordinary: The Stan Romanek Story. This movie so closely resembles the recent spike in activity that it seems to be the perfect example. This particular case had close to 200 different cases of videos, pictures, phone calls, health reports, and other forms of documentation. In my personal opinion, I believe that these cases were part of a hoax. Don’t get me wrong, I guarantee that there is life out there in the universe besides just us, but in this case, I do not believe Stan Romanek’s pleadings in the film.
Reviewing the experiments five years later, one secrecy-conscious CIA auditor wrote: “Precautions must be taken not only to protect operations from exposure to enemy forces but also to conceal these activities from the American public in general. The knowledge that the agency is engaging in unethical and illicit activities would have serious repercussions in political and diplomatic circles.” Though many of the documents related to MKULTRA were destroyed by the CIA in 1972, some records relating to the program have made it into the public domain. And the work of historians, investigative reporters, and various congressional committees has resulted in the release of enough information to make MKULTRA one of the most disturbing instances of intelligence community abuse on record. As writer Mark Zepezauer puts it, “the surviving history is nasty enough.”
The creation of Area 51 began in April of 1955, when a Lockheed test pilot, Tony LeVier, searched for a remote site to test the U-2. Grooms Lake is chosen as the location for the runway. By August of 1955, the U-2 makes its first flight from Grooms Lake. That was only the beginning for test flights from Area 51. In April 1962, the first A-12 Blackbird was tested at Groom Lake. February 1982, the F-117A Stealth fighter takes off for the first time. All other test flights have not been released to the public, but that doesn't mean they don't occur. However, they are, in no way, shape or form, alien test flights. Nearly all of the evidence that supports the alien spacecraft theory, is without backing, or solid information. Also, the US government played on the UFO theories to hide their own testing plans. Today, Area 51 is the home to the latest top secret aircraft: the Aurora, among others Many of these aircraft, past and present, are able to perform incredible feats in the sky. Some so unbelievable, that they could be mistaken for alien spacecraft by fanatics of extra-terrestrials. However, based on the falsified eye-witness accounts of Area 51, and declassification of military spy planes like the U-2 and F-117A Stealth fighter, I am here to tell you that these flights are not alien crafts, but actually secret military aircraft.
Ever look up at the sky and just wonder if there is life anywhere else? Have you seen anything in the sky that is almost unexplainable? What if your thoughts really came true? The thought of the existence of aliens seems to have been around since the beginning of time. There is one incident in particular that really hits home when talking about the subject, the UFO incident of Roswell, New Mexico.
Later in October the National Security Archive released a series of documents focused directly on Area 51. These documents include projects names, programs, the names of those involved and a few incidents during the project experiments. As of today there are at least 60 documents divulging some of the secrets held at Area 51. In document six there is a discussion between E.H Knoche, Deputy Director of the CIA and General David C. Jones, Chief of staff U.S Air Force. The two discuss the CIA’s involvement at Area 51 and weather they are needed any longer. They both come to the conclusion that the Air Force should have the responsibility over the area and continue with research. Document 6 also discusses the Have Glib foreign radar system threat, which is the largest defense department project at Area 51. Document seven states that Knoche, and Jones decide that the manuel detachment 3 of Air Force security police would be responsible for Area 51 security. Document ten is Ufimtsev’s 1962 experiments information translated by Air Force Tech Division which provides both theoretical and mathematical basics for the F-117 aircraft project. Document eleven was written by the head of the Lockheed company, and includes mathematical figurations on the U-2, and OXCART. Both of these documents serve to provide the process behind development of the first spy crafts created at Area 51. Documents ten through fourteen cover the stealth fundamentals at the base. Document twelve is a report of research performed by Teledyne Ryan under Air Force contract on low radar cross section aerial vehicles and results. Thirteen discusses the importance of Teledyne’s research on the radar cross section of aircraft of the design of different regions of the vehicle including the nose, and tail. Document fourteen is a briefing book of five tabs about the value of evolving the
It was a badly kept secret. It allowed the many imaginations of conspiracy theorists to wander on. Tons of UFO hunters also want to check out Area 51. Major Bolden said, “There is an Area 51,” he said. “It’s not what many people think. I’ve been to a place called that but it’s a normal research and development place. I never saw any aliens or alien spacecraft or anything when I was there.” (Knapton.) The craziest theories about aliens at Area 51 said that not only were the aliens here on Earth but that they are running the whole thing. Apparently, the U.S. government has “agreed” to let the aliens to abduct people at their will and test on these citizens.
Area 51 puzzles many people. The mystery behind area 51 can be summed up in two theories: aliens and aircrafts. aircrafts being tested in the area most likely account for “spaceship “ sightings in the area. along with this, though many people believe aliens are associated with abductions, missing people, etc. no true proof is given. No one really knows the true purpose of area 51, aliens or not area 51 is full of mystery and controversy.
Most people today believe area 51 is where the government store, and do research on the “alien ships”. Because of its high security, warning signs, and even to the black armored trucks with armed men watching your every move as you approach the signs that say “ no one without a high security clearance can go beyond this point” It has been the main focus of the alien theories. But what about the other bases? Such as, Pine Gap (Australia), Kapustin Yar (Russia), HAARP Research Station (Alaska), Porton Down (UK), and most recently the Dulce bases (A.K.A.) Area 52. All of these bases you can find loads of information on except for the new Dulce base. Was area 51 a cover up for the real Alien base? “There is no concrete evidence to this day about Dulce. It is alleged to be located near the Colorado-New Mexico border town of Dulce. Why can we not locate it? Because it is located underground. Completely Secluded area under the Archuleta Mesa” (Top 5 secret). While there is little to no information on this base, there are a few articles that support the Dulce base is the “secret” that the government has been trying to hide away from society for many years. One of the many reasons they may be hiding this “operation” is because there is new found evidence of an “alien” race that is native to Earth and that has been here all
Whether or not the Roswell incident truly involved a UFO remains unclear. How ever, the military cover-up only served to fuel the fire of our imaginations. Interest continues to grow, as questions remain unanswered. Even Bill Clinton has been quoted as saying “…If the United States Air Force did recover alien bodies, they didn’t tell me about it either, and I want to know”(qtd. in Wright 105).
The thought of government cover-ups have been long discussed. The government has always, in the past, tried to keep any sign of aliens, whether it be pictures from space, to crashes on earth, to a low or nonexistent level. Just recently has the government been harassed to the point where they actually gave us clues to alien existence. It has in some ways been believed that the government has worked in partnership with popular movie directors, to produce alien movies to ease the thought that we may not be alone. Such movies as ôThe Arrivalö and the ever popular ôIndependence Dayö are very good examples of well convincing alien movies. If this is true, they did a good job, because statistics state that 75% of people today believe that there is some kind of intelligent life forms besides ourselves in the universe. That is very convincing compared to the 20% whom believed 25 years ago. ô New opinions are always suspected, and usually opposed, without any other reason but because they are not already common.ö (MacGowan 261)
