This morning was sort of just a regular morning. I walked up the Acclivity to get to my bus stop. At my bus stop there are three of the smallest teens ever to be in high school. Their names are James, Kaleb, and Wesley. They literally follow me around school all day but the funny thing is they are all seniors and i'm a junior. I’m all three of them standing on each others shoulders in height. Weight it's probably the same circumstances to be completely honest. They are hilarious though, they put on little Parodies at the lunch table of videos they watched the night before. Some of them are straight Travesties if you ask me. But others might just be straight Ludicrous. Mr.Hecklebumberson the counselor watches too he says everyday that He Loathes seeing the three guys act out such Sardonic reenactments. But he acknowledges their Alacrity to put on a show. After lunch we all have a free period. We usually go hangout but we decided to go to the auditorium to watch the theater kids rehearse their upcoming play. …show more content…
the theater director needed three people to assist them due to sickness and the boys were ready. As I sat next to the theater director his face was frozen he had to be star structed. He was mesmerized by the three guys Ethereal acting skills. When finished the theater director begged the guys to replace the actors in the play. She complimented them saying “ you act with such a Consummate elegance”. I wasn't surprised he was impressed they put on a show everyday in front of me. After the period was over we went to Gym.The last period of the
The performance of the storyteller was not particularly frightening at any point in the story. It was told for the purpose of entertainment, and the storyteller certainly kept his audience interested throughout the tale with hand gestures and body motions. At ...
I walked into the 6th grade classroom and looked up at the faces of Jack Vander Stelt and Tristan Saarie. I thought for sure I was in the wrong class and the wrong grade. Jack was a full six foot three inches and Tristan one of the tallest girls I’d ever seen. I already felt like the smallest person in the world, but now I was extremely panicked and thought for sure I would never fit in there.
The patient was more beautiful than she realized. If only she could see it for herself. The color from her dainty face had drained to a sickened green tint and her eyes widened in fear. The walls of the clinic exam room were ordained in calming colors, but offered the young woman no comfort. She continued to blink rapidly as if she would awaken from the nightmare; her long eyelashes could not fan the health worker’s words away. She thought it was harmless, just a night of fun. It made her feel valuable and attractive. Yet being desired now left her alone, crumpling to the floor screaming between sobs and desperately reaching to the empty air around her. She couldn’t grasp any security. Not only did that harmless night of fun result in her becoming
The observation took place indoor at my relative 's house. I went to observe the child on Tuesday at 12:00 in the morning. When you first enter the house and walk through the hallway, you will see that the kitchen is on the right side and the dining table on the left. After passing the kitchen and dining table, you will see that the living room connects to the back-yard. The living room 's walls had multiple picture frames and decoration pieces hanging along with a brown color clock. Moreover, the living room had dark green sofa 's, television, a coffee table and variety of toys that include a white writing board, a box of legos, soft toys, barbie dolls, kitchen sets, play house, books, ball, building blocks and a blue color table along with
The Carlisle Dinner Theater was radiating with laughter, the clapping of the audience's hands all in sink, and all different whistles filled the theater. As the bright red curtains closed, I walked off the stage and thought to myself, how on Earth was I so lucky to get where I am today?
For this field assignment, I chose to observe a seventh grade self-contained math class at William A Morris I.S 61 on Staten Island. I am currently a substitute teacher at the school and has worked at this school for approximately two years. For the purpose of this observations, I worked with Mr. Karl Knutsen, a 6th and 7th grade math, special education and technology supervisor at the school. Mr. Knutsen has been a teacher for seven years and has worked in I.S 61 for five. He currently teaches all self-contained math classes and is the "tech guy" for the building, meaning he is the go-to guy for all SmartBoard or computer based questions and emergencies. I am currently observing and working with Mr. Knutsens first and second period 7th grade class, 717. This class has 12 students, 11 boys and 1 girl, ranging in ages 13-14. Each student has an IEP for varying
I completed my observation at the Roosevelt Middle School located in Erie, Pennsylvania. The students being served at this school are sixth through eigth grade. The students are comprised from a diverse population. I observerd at this site a total of nine times from 1pm to 3pm every Tuesday and Thursday.
It was a regular day for at Hillcrest High School in Springfield, Missouri, and of course Mrs.Bain had to do this to us. Like always if the “populars” do not agree with what the teacher does then, they will complain about everything. At school we have geeks, nerds and the Jocks/preppy populars. I am one of the nerds at school because I have a high HQ. There was the two most populars, Ian and Ashley. Ian was this very attractive boy that girls would fall head over heals for-if you don’t know him very well-. He had dreamy chocolate brown eyes, shocking brunette hair, and he had dimples when he smiled. Oh the way he smiles, I did not just think that! I cannot believe that just ew! Then there was th...
Thought this school year, kids at Taylor Road Middle School are bullying. The majority of the 8th graders are physically and mentally bullying other kids. These kids, especially the 6th graders learn this behavior and they start to do it themselves. The 8th graders also use inappropriate language and curse words. The 6th graders have also started using these words. This has to stop for Taylor Road to be considered a safe
I went to McKinley Junior High on Tuesday! I didn’t really know what to expect from the school, or what it would be like because I’ve never been inside a public junior high. My school was K-8, so it was big, but it also had more grades than just 6-8th. When I got to McKinley, I was shocked at how big it actually was. I was nervous walking in because it was really big, and I was scared I wasn’t going to be able to find the office. Sure enough it took me a little while to find the office, I was very confused. Once I got into the office, I told the lady at the front test that I was from Coe and she handed me a slip of paper that said 321 and that was it. So, I wondered the halls a little bit looking for the classroom.
The fat lady sat there in the elevator with the little boy she turned and looked at him and said ‘’what happened to your leg?’’ the boy just stood there in silence without saying a word all of a sudden the fat lady begins to stop the elevator the elevator jerks and comes to a complete stop the boy begins to turn red the fat lady turns to look at him and begins to put her hand on the top of her head. She then grips her head and pulls off her head the boy closed his eyes and began to scream then it became silent the little boy slowly began to open his eyes when he opened them just enough to see it was his dad! The little boy gets up with and angry face he presses the stop button again so the elevator could go the whole way up no words were said.
If the actors didn't play their roles correctly the whole thing wouldn't make any sense. Luckily, the actors who played the bullies were very effective at persuading the audience of their mean teasing. The over exaggeration of the bullies laughs shows how the victim must be perceiving their actions and this helps viewers sympathize with the
As we entered the emergency room, I could smell alcoholic based cleaning fluid and sterile, latex gloves. We made our way over to the counter. I was dragging my feet. When the woman at the reception desk asked me what was wrong I broke down. I couldn’t answer. Ami stepped in and whispered to the woman that I had been “sexually assaulted.” Paleness took the healthy glow from the woman’s face.
I picture myself center stage in the most enormous and fantastically beautiful theater in the world. Its walls and ceilings are covered in impeccable Victorian paintings of angels in the sky. A single ray of light shines down upon my face, shining through the still, silent darkness, and all attention is on me and me alone. The theater is a packed house; however, my audience is not that of human beings, but rather the angels from the paintings on the walls come alive, sitting intently in the rows of plush seats. Their warmth encompasses my body, and I know at that moment that it is time to begin.
The class that I observed was also seventh class in Public school “Deshmoret e Kombit” with the same teacher Miranda Agaj. In this class were 30 pupils, eighteen boys and twelve girls. As always before the lesson started I talked with the teacher about what she was going to teach that day. The lesson started at 8.20am.When we entered in the class all pupils greeted us and they saw me they just looking and talked with each other who is this girl. At the first the teacher wrote in the diary the lesson plan, she asked if someone missed, but all the pupils were present. Than she started to ask pupils how they are,and also she introduced me with them. Also I presented myself and I told them that for a month I am going to be in school in English class. Than I went and set down at the back of class when is the best place to observe pupils and teacher.
