It was an event that murdered millions and millions of Jews and also left thousands with physical and/or mental scars. Hitler targeted the Jews in particular as he viewed the Jewish race to be the reason behind the First World War that afterwards put Germany in a lot of strife. His own personal vendetta against the Jews caused millions of innocent people and families to lose their lives. The main reason the Holocaust took place was just for Hitler’s revenge on the Jews.
