COLA knows what is essential for the organization to be a great organization and nothing else matter. COLA does not allow complex issues to deter it from finding simpler ways to address them. COLA is only focused upon what makes it great and not any complex issues that could stand in the way of its success. Excellence is created by allowing the staff and students to incorporate life experiences in the lessons being taught. The one concept that I feel is most significant in this week’s reading would be the Hedgehog Concept, simplifying a complex world into a single organized idea/principle that guides everything else.
