Recommended: Economics of healthcare

This paper discusses why healthcare should be rationed, how the resources should be saved to reduce healthcare cost without forgoing quality and access to healthcare. In the U.S. since there is no universal healthcare system, people are dependent of healthcare insurance through their employer. As long as they have jobs there is no worry about healthcare. This is not the case with people who cannot afford basic healthcare and have to be dependent on government programs. Most of the providers don not accept Medicaid patients and very few procedures and services are covered through Medicare and Medicaid. The paper also proposes few policy changes the government must introduce to make healthcare affordable for all. Healthcare rationing is limiting
