“The world's slum population is estimated to be 1 billion, by the year 2020.” Habitat for Humanity is a foundation that helps house people, who don’t have much. “There are nearly 2 billion people around the world who live in slum housing and more than 100 million are homeless.” (Habitat For Humanity International) Habitat for Humanity has been helping house people since 1976. Habitat gathers their fundings from donations, clients they helped out, and companies that sponsor them. Habitat for Humanity has helped out many different people in many different locations. Habitat needs as many donations and volunteers as possible, so they can help even more people. Habitat For Humanity has been able to be successful because of donations.
