The Advantages of Growing Up in a Small Town

The place where you grow up affects your daily life either positively or unfavorably. Where you develop causes a huge effect in your life and your future, such as, in your perspective on everyday issues or your personality. Several people believe it is easy to grow up in a small town while others consider it is better to grow up in a big city. I believe it is better to grow up in a small town, since it is a calm and efficient place that is ideal for the growth of a child.

One of the benefits of living in a town is fresh air. In the city's air smog and fumes are found, meanwhile, the small town does not involve industries, traffic, or any type of machine that emits pollution. If person ever wants to move to a place where he or she can live tranquilly, a small town is the answer. Here we can see that a town is a peaceful area considering it composes of fewer people, less traffic, and less construction places.

Moreover, other advantage of small town life is that it is a safe environment. It can act as a benefit for the raising of a family. A small town has low crime levels which makes it a secure and reliable place, in contrast of a big city which has high levels of crime making it dangerous for anyone. This means that you do not need live in fear of crime all the time like you do in the city.

As well, another benefit in living in a small town is that you might improve your values. While in the big city, many families become lost in a world of fast food and video games, small town families spend a pleasant deal of time teaching their kids proper values and respect.
