Greek Persuasive Speech

Centuries before magnificent wonders rose in Rome, Greece was the center of the Mediterranean world, with mighty city states ruling in the name of the Olympians. The people of Greece worshipped the mighty Olympic Gods, who looked down from the summit of Mount Olympus in northern Greece. Their fantastic reign began millennia ago when they had defeated their fathers, the Titans. There were also many great heroes who roamed Greece, some of them even demigods, mortal children of the gods. and one of the mightiest heroes began his journey with a simple foot race on the Western Island of Ithaca.
