Good versus Evil themes appear often in movies but I’m not talking about themes – I’m talking about the quality of them. People put labels upon movies such as good, decent, fine, nice, bad, horrible, okay, evil, and plenty of others but more times than ever, they mislabel the move as being too kind to it without even knowing the conditions of the movie’s budget or even give it a second thought. Effective movies (or “good” as most people say) contain the very similar things that ineffective (or “bad) movies contain; effective movies leave you with a better impression of it when it ends than when it starts while bad movies has the reaction from the start to finish or getting progressively worse as every minute passes by. Each movie have similar processes in its creation and have categories, or check lists that must be completed nicely in order to prevent it from falling victim to being a ineffective movie; there are many factors and they can fall from even one big mistake in each – small mistakes are easily excusable.
Source Code or Skyfall, both very great movies have same build in plot that leads them to be so “good” or very suspenseful as they say; they both had great plots, directors, casting, CGI effects, sound, et cetera right. They had to have a nice combination of these without lacking majorly in one. In good movies, they must have a fantastic director because directors are like the Generals of the Movie Industry as they have the complete power to change the script (plot), casting, command actors, et cetera – they have complete control and if they are bad, they cannot detect the problems of the film in which will certainly cause a bad movie. As I said before, casting is done by the directors and it must be a decent cast as ...

...hat aspect) Iconic franchises such as Saw and Pirates of the Caribbean start the same as terrible movies like Killer Clowns from Outer Space but differ in quality. For the fourth reason, the timing of music or words are what is similar because even in ineffective movies, you don’t see anything that is just random or bad timing; the script allows the timing and everything will be on time regardless if it is effective or not- the script was there before the cast, it is the very reason why timing is never off.
In conclusion, “good” or effective movies are separated by great casting, good directors, and leave long lasting impressions on the audience when it finishes unlike the “bad” or ineffective movies. The qualities of the movies are very noticeable and easily distinguishable by almost all factors and will fail a movie if one factor isn’t up to par with the rest.
