With the increasing development of society, connections between people become more and more tight. Owning a great speaking skill, especially the ability to speak in front of the public, is becoming more and more necessary for people nowadays. There is a celebrated dictum that a person who is good at speaking has two times opportunities than the ordinary people to be the successful. Good speaking skills could help people to make a profound impression. For example, if a person would give a speech to junior high school students, he should make sure his speech topic could draw students’ attention, such as talking about games, cartoon or superheroes which students are totally interested in. Making a presentation just like to give a class to the audience, the lecturers are the teacher and the audience are their students. The necessary part of a good lecture diffuses the main minds and thinking to these students.’ Thus, the lecturer must deem his words are extremely perfect. He must be confident for your topic. And make sure no one could defeat him in this subject. Sometimes, the presentation is also like a debate between the speaker and audiences. The speaker need to use his words and minds as his sword and shield, he needs to persuade his audience trust. In order to conquer this aim, the lecturer must do a lot of preparation. He needs to think about the leak point of his point, and try his best to solve it. Thinking about the topic as the sight of an enemy debater will help find the weak point in this presentation and realize how to beat back. When I was a middle school student, I had made a presentation to my classmate about history. Unfortunately, I was not able to offer a good lecture. I ignored a little weak point, which becomes a ‘sword’ of my classmates. They defeated me in my presentation.
