Globalization is the worldwide movement, which contains economic, financial, trade and communications integration. Meanwhile, globalization is a process of interaction among the people, companies, governments and different nations. Moreover, this process is driven by the international trade, investments and the development of technology. Then, the process would be effect on the economy, environment and culture as well. In this portfolio, cultural impact of globalization will be discussed. According to video called “Global Civics” that is given by the blackboard. It put forward a question that is “Do you feel you have responsibility is towards people in other parts of the world?” Then, they make the face to face interviews with people, who are from different backgrounds, occupations and educations. There are some negative opinions, for examples, some people think they just need to take care of themselves. Because they think nobody could help them in a poor situation and they need to fight for living by themselves. In addition, some people also think it is far away to consider the world. And firstly, they just want to think about and concentrate on their local people, so they support as the citizen in local. However, most of the people said under the developing of the globalization, people need to consider as the citizen of this whole world.
