Ginger Nut was the last character to be introduced in Bartleby the Scrivener. Ginger Nut was only twelve years old, making him the youngest man working in the firm. Out of all the characters he was the least impactful. The majority of his daily tasks consists of doing what most twelve year old boys do, handing out snacks and other minor errands. The narrator chose Ginger Nut’s nickname when all he brought to his co-workers ginger nut cakes.
