Getting lost in a mall was something I was keen on doing. On that day I was on a field trip for my _ grade class. We went to McWane Science Center, it was one of the best places I ever been. I remember touching little sting rays and bamboo sharks. It reminded me of my most favorite place I the world, Mississippi Museum of Natural Science. Of course the happiness ended when we went to Riverchase Galleria for food. The mall was gigantic with shops scattered to the sides, pristine with polished white floors, and jam-packed with people. Corridors were sprawled out like branches and food scented the air. It didn’t work. But instantly a plan went into my head. I told my dad if I just follow the map to GameStop and I‘ll wait for him up there. He hesitantly said yes. I ran with joy to the escalator. He watched as I went up the escalator to get to GameStop. GameStop seemed to have fell off the face of the Earth as it was nowhere in sight. My mind scrambled on what my next action would be. I decided to choose the worst course of action: walk around. I didn’t stay and waited on a bench or didn’t try to find a security guard. To me deciding to walk around a mall I never been in, and in a state I haven’t been in since I was younger, was the best course of action. To this day I still don’t know the exact reasons I chose that option over the more reasonable, better options. I started walking around the mall. I strolled and explored the second floor twice for my dad. Both times wasn’t there. Finally, I decided it was time to search the first floor more thoroughly instead of looking over the glass railing. It took a few minutes to descend down to the first floor. I was deathly afraid of the escalator but being lost forever was worse to me. After the internal struggle over a simple task, I arrived at the bottom floor. I swiftly searched the first floor, but again I didn’t see
