George Washington was born in the year of 1732. Being born into a Virginia family who owned and ran a plantation he was forced to learn all of the respects of the 18th century Virginia nobleman. He had two interests that he had pursued, military and western expansion. By the age of 16 he had helped survey Shenandoah domains for tom, in 1754 he fought in his first battle wich convayed into the French and Indian war wich continued to 1763. He occupied the following year as assistance to the general Edward Braddock, he avoided injury yet four bullets frayed his coat in addition to two horses being shot from beneath him. From 1759 toward the American Revolution, Washington lead his lands all over Mount Vernon in addition to attending the house of burgesses in virginia. He married a widow named, Martha Dandridge Custis, he divoted himself to a eventful and pleasant life. But similar his fellow colonists, Washington felt that he was being exploited by British dealers and hindered by British guidelines. Actually, it was separated into small battles, one of those battles is the battle of Trenton 1776 which is actually the battle I will be informing you about. This battle has some causes, leaders, events, and some effects. First of all, the battle didn’t happen for no reason, actually there were 2 causes. Hobart.k12.in.us stated that Washington, a leader I will be explaining later in the passage, and his continental army felt like they were in trouble and they really needed to win a battle to keep their game up. So on Christmas night when they were camped by Delaware,when Washington had an outrageous plan that would give him and his army victory.
On June, 17th 1775 began a fight between the British and the Americans, it took place on Breed’s HIll. In Charlestown Peninsula, North side of Boston Harbor, this battle was the bloodest of the Revoltionary in America. The British Commander, Lieutenant General Thomas Gage, Major General William Howe. There were about 2,400 troops being lead by Major general Howe.
It was a good year for a revolution, 1776. But it didn't start off quite as well as the colonists would have liked. When George Washington agreed to take command of the American forces in 1775, he probably didn't realize what he was truly getting himself into. Washington took command of an army made up of old men and young boys that had either come from their farms or the street. The army was short on weapons and gunpowder, lacked uniforms, and was racked by disease and drunkenness. Washington understood that what lies ahead would be difficult, considering he would be facing the most powerful country in world. But he probably didn't expect his worst problems to come from his own army, which was an undisciplined and untrained group that would eventually tamper with his great patience. Through it all he would stay determined and always try to stay one step ahead of the enemy.

George Washington became President in 1789 and since then has been regarded as America’s “Founding Father”(10). This grand and hero-like status is said to have “began gravitating to Washington six months before the Declaration of Independence, when one Levi Allen addressed him in a letter as ‘our political Father.’”(10). The preservation of Washington’s role as a national hero has been allowed by authors and the media omitting his many flaws as if they had either been forgotten or were no longer important. Yet by excluding these human faults, they have projected an almost god-like hero and inflicted him upon the nation as their Father, somebody whose “life still has the power to inspire anyone”(10).

Late in the war, 1778, was the point of Britain being close to defeat. Current commander of British forces was Lt. General Henry Clinton trying to stop this rebellion. Washington was born in Westmore County, Virginia, on February 22, 1732. He is the son of the late Augustine Washington and Mary Ball Washington. Augustine was a tobacco farmer and a stock raiser. Washington spent most of his early childhood on the Ferry Farm in Fredricksburg, Virginia. He attended school up until his fifteenth year. Washington married Martha Dandridge on January 6,1759.
The colonists might have over exaggerated the whole problem a tiny bit. Also in His home colony, Rhode Island, a naval vessel from the British kept watch on the Islanders. The British were there to make sure the Islanders didn't smuggle, steal, or disrespect other commanders already watching over his colony. During the battle the red coats were devastated by 270 casualties and 73 of them died and around fifty Americans died.

As a young man, however, Hamilton had more then a personal glory on his mind. He now wanted to free America from the tyranny of the British government. Hamilton's war began in New York in August 1775 when the heart's of oak captured the British cannon from the fort on Manhattan's southern tip and brought them to the American camp farther north. Despite the cover of silence and darkness, the British new what happened. They were not about to let a group of young rebels steal their guns. From a warship in the harbor they bombed the Americans.

The following six years Washington led the 13 colonies together. It was hard as he had to build up an army from untrained and unpaid men and was also appointed unskilled officers. He never had a big enough army to directly attack in battle and sometimes he was close to being defeated. He used skills that would drain the British and then attack and then force them out of the area. Washington had help from the French also that made winning the Revolutionary War possible. In 1781 the fighting was over.
