Earth has 3 worlds to equal one. Throughout history, humans have developed societies, states, cities, civilizations etc. However, we are not all equal. In the world, we are divided into two groups of countries; ones that are industrialized, have political and economical stability, and have high levels of human health and those countries that do not. The countries that are not industrialized, and do not have political and economical stability, and have low levels of human health are categorized as third world countries. In these third world countries the gender gap is obvious in various ways, through education and also environmental. Women’s impact often times can go unrecognized because they are not able to completely demonstrate their abilities. Women in the third world countries are unvalued both culturally and politically, however through educational advancement their value can become more prominent.
Gender inequality in the world remains a big challenge. Of the 1.6 billion people who live in poverty, majority are women. In many of these developing countries or third world countries there are far fewer girls than boys found in secondary schools and it makes it difficult for them to find good jobs which means less food and much poorer, harsher lifestyles. Women’s life span has begun to decrease and men tend to live longer lives. This is a contradictory statement although statistics show that women live longer lives than men. Women in third world countries are suffering in the environment in which they live in, not only is it unsanitary for them to eat, drink, and sleep, but also prevents from reproducing healthy children. ...anks to education. They are educated women who were given the same opportunities as the men in America and have become a very powerful working force. So just an opportunity could separate Africa from America, which is why everyone must help women get educated.
Women in the third world countries like Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Oceania, all have cultures that mainly revolve around the average male, are beginning to have a shot at ruling. These hardworking women are showing the interest in education, politics, medicine, etc., which will create dreams that turn into the reality goal. With determined women chasing their dreams, the world with be complete. With help from others around the world who advocate for more women’s’ rights in developing countries, it will be possible to remove the gap that is found between women and education in these Third world countries.
