My Research paper will be about the recent problems with freedom of speech being limited more and more by rules and regulations on campuses, and more specifically the University of Northern Colorado. The problem with freedom of speech on campuses is that in recent times people believe that their feelings are more important than freedom of speech. The biggest controversy with this topic is that some believe that there should be some limits to freedom of speech on campus while the other opinion is that the campus is made to be a controversial battle ground of opinions and have diverse opinions. The problem that i will specific be addressing is the idea that limits are needed and are not so bad i will be thinking of a future outcome what can happen if we give in just this little amount, how it can escalate into something much worse. The reason that my issue is argumentative because both sides can have reasonable arguments, one being that everyone should be included and people should not offend others, and the other is that people should have debates and diverse opinions even if it may offend others.
