As an American we are all born in this country with many rights, including the right to be free spoken. Although, within these rights there are choices being made that cause the limitation for some of these rights. Who gets to choose whether they should be taken away or not? The Freedom of Speech clause falls under the First Amendment and is one of the most cherished rights us Americans can uphold. It has also caused many limitations because of the choices people make under this right. These limitations; or some may even call them restrictions, should not be valid. Many great ideas are formed from the collaboration of spoken opinion. Just as there is good, there is always bad. Although, freedom of speech has caused collaborations of injustice thoughts and ideas, the act of freedom of speech and opinion can be the determining factor of right and wrong. For example, the KKK; this organization has caused a lot of harm to our society, although in gatherings that involve a speaker to express their opinions for their organization, this is legal because it falls under political choice. 2 With the opinion of right and wrong, restrictions are being made to determine what can and cant be said. These restrictions are creating a platform of dictation and taking away your freedom of choice. When you take away someone's right of freedom of speech who is "bad", you must take away the same right from all. Our society is built off of unity, not unfair and unlawful justice. So what about the people who have thoughts of greatness to improve our society? They should be given the right to speak their opinion and not be limited because someone thinks its wrong. We cannot prevent or stop others who obtain there right of free speech. However we can make the choice on how we handle and approach these certain circumstances. Words that cause immediate danger are different than forming and speaking on an opinion. An opinion that is negative or positive is protected under the First Amendment and should stay this way when it comes to Freedom of Speech. This comes with the help of keeping the government accountable. Being open and mindful of other's spoken opinions can help create a greater foundation for Freedom of Speech, instead of striiping people of their rights as
