Football:Pass and Catch
The first exercise I will be teaching is how to pass and catch a football. The first thing I show my students is the proper form to throw a football. After they all learn to hold it I will set up an target practice where they can learn to work on their aim. When my students get an good sense for throwing the football I will move on to catching the football. When I am teaching my students to catch the ball I will inform them that they should always keep their eye on the ball, that they need to extend their arms toward the ball when it comes,and that they should cup their hands. Once they have learned the basic fundamentals of passing catching I will put them in groups of 2-3 where they can practice with their classmates. After 20 minutes I will create 2-4 teams depending on the size of the football field, to play a scrimmage of football. The muscles that are used in when passing the football will be shoulder muscles,arm muscles,Upper-Body Muscles, and lower body. When catching the football the main muscles the students will use will be their teres major, posterior deltoid, triceps and pectoralis major.

The first step I will teach them is the form they should do when attacking the basket. I will show them if you go to the right side you leap of with your left leg but if you go to the left side it's the right foot. Once I show them the basics I will separate the class to different baskets where they could practice. Each student will need to make a least 15 layups if they want to finnish. Once this is completed I will show them different types of layups that they can perform. I will then set up an scrimmage where they can only score by taking layups and once an team reaches 20 layups they will be dismissed from the class.
