Following Others In Brave New World

In Brave New World the ordinary society where everyone follows what they have been taught from others. They take somas to help them, learn that everyone is able to have sexual activity with others, and to rank by how strong and smart. The real question is why follow that same path when it’s better to create your own path then to follow others.
First, Lenina is a woman who sleeps with different men but in our society most people would sin on. Lenina is constantly taking somas because in her mind they help her and she believes she needs them. Bernard tries to fit in with his society by taking somas when he never takes somas. For example, “Half an hour later they were back in his rooms. Bernard swallowed four tablets of soma at a gulp, turned on the radio and television and began to undress.” Bernard knows more than other people in the society so he tries to stay away from them. In this section, Bernard didn’t want to make another path that was better he followed the others in his society Brave New World they are taught that everyone belongs to everyone else.For example in Brave New World Lenina and Henry were having intercourse but she was also with other men too. In their society having sex is similar to entertainment and more to release hormones. For example "The lift was crowded with men from the Alpha Changing Rooms, and Lenina's entry was greeted by many friendly nods and smiles. This a really meaningful theme because for example in Brave New World doing the same thing every day never knowing the truth can get really tiring. Doing something you believe in instead of following other could better for your future. Bernard and John accomplish this by not giving in and following their own
