In this paper I will talk about how important it is to take care of your body and what to do tom make that happen. Within the last week, I was able to track my exercise, rest and health support. I will talk about my accomplishments and what I need to work on better. When I was tracking my exercise I was able to use my FitBit to help me better see my improvements. I concluded that I normally walk more that 10,000 steps a day; that is about 5 miles. “An average person has a stride length of approximately 2.1 to 2.5 feet. That means that it takes over 2,000 steps to walk one mile; and 10,000 steps would be almost 5 miles.” (The Walking Site, 2016, http://www.thewalkingsite.com/10000steps.html) When I’m at work, I tend to walk a lot more than …show more content…

I used my FitBit to help with this one also. Looking at a week of logging, I can see that I roughly get 6 hours to 8 hours of sleep each night. According to my FitBit, I can fall asleep after lying down in less the 30 minutes. To me, I think that is very good considering all the things I can lay there and think about. I have found an amazing group of friends that will be here for me when I need them to be! I have an amazing family that will always be there for me! And I also have two amazing dogs that make coming home so much better! Without them, I don’t know where I would be. I’m able to go to a job that I love. I could not imagine having to wake up and get ready for a job that I just dread. Also, my phone calls to back home mean the world to be. I may be only miles away from my parents but that phone call every day brightens up my face! I don’t have any proof but from what I have saw, the kids that don’t have a supporting family, are the ones that start being rebellious and getting into trouble. After logging my support for a week, I realized that I need to set a day aside where I can go visit my friends; just go out for coffee or lunch.
