Recommended: My favorite sport

Everyone has a favorite thing right? Some more complex than others, as some say. Not everyone will love things that other people might love. My favorite thing is field hockey; it’s the best thing in the world because it keeps you active, provides entertainment for viewers, and lastly keeps you busy when you have nothing else to do. Now someone who despises field hockey could comfortably say some demoralizing things. Some might say the goalie gets little exercise due to them standing in the goal. Others will say field hockey is not entertaining to viewers, and not everyone has time on their hand to practice, and be good at field hockey. Non field hockey lovers could yammer forever, many will say you can’t make a living from field hockey.

With the new structure came segregation of the sexes. As the sport progressed for the men, the women were left behind. In spite of all this, the first all female organized game was played in Barrie, Ontario in 1892. Women's ice hockey slowly limped on up until the 1920's.
