Nicholas shook William, Jeffrey, and mine hand then he strolled back into the stone building without a care in the world. The ride home was completely silent give me the chance to finally think about how I felt about this world I had found myself throw into. I liked the new power I felt within, but I despised the hunger that I constantly felt. In the end I realized that it didn't really matter how I felt I could either choose to end my life or I could just use my new abilities to have as much fun as I possibly could. We returned to William's house an hour and a half before sunrise I tore the ropes that they were binding my coffin, and I carried my bed into the two story house. The coffin was big enough that I had plenty of room to twist and turn, but I found it nearly impossible to fall asleep. I spent hours trying to enter the world of dreams, but eventually I jumped out of the coffin then peered into the kitchen. Seeing that the kitchen wasn't full of sunlight I walked out of the basement and tried to make my upstairs, but I couldn't reach the stairs since the living room where the stairs were was enveloped in light. Not wanting to return to my coffin I tried to find any bedrooms on the first floor that I could sleep in, but they were all on the second floor. With no other choice I returned to the basement crawled back into the coffin and somehow fell fast asleep. As the night disappeared I found that even sleep had changed for me. Instead of dreaming all I saw was the void I had seen when I was first turned into a vampire. At around one thirty in the afternoon the scent of blood floated down the stairs and entered my nose waking me up from my so called slumber.
