Recommended: Overcrowding in the US prisons

If the prison systems should do away with parole, the prisons will remain overcrowded. The inmates who are doing well would have to continue their full sentence in prison with no chance of early release. Some prisoners see the error of their ways and serve their time in prison without any punishment or mistakes and are looking to get released early because of good behavior. If parole is abolished, parole officers will no longer be needed to monitor officers. Also if parole is abolished, there will be no supervision when the inmates are released from completing their full sentence.
