Are us teenagers just going to sit there and let the elders decide on how we are going to live ? Shouldn’t teens have a say and be allowed to vote? All people are affected by the decisions politicians make. Allowing teens to vote allows teens to have a say in their futures. teens who are ignorant or don’t care wouldn’t vote anyway. But by not allowing teens to vote because the are not “trust worthy” or “intelligent” or old enough to make decisions for their own futures is outraging, at the age of 14-16 there’s not a very big difference from the way people think when they are 18 which is the legal age you can vote,it doesn’t take 2+ years for your brain to fully develop,kids can do a difference in the world just like adults,adults may be more responsible …show more content…

25% of the population said that 14 year olds shouldn’t be aloud to vote and the other 75% said that they should , one said, “No, young teen should not be allowed to vote in general or local elections. A young teen lacks the life experience necessary to make an informed vote.”
A young teens brain is still forming as well, and lacks the ability to make good judgment calls.” Teenagers learn about politics and choices they make in life in school and from anywhere else , teenagers these days are quite ingaged politics and want to know what society they are going to grow up in ,Teenagers are important to the world like every one else,surley if the government think that kids are “responsible” enough to drive at 17 than they are responsible enough to vote under the age of 17?
